Texas State and Adobe partnered to allow all TXST students to install Adobe Creative Cloud apps onto their personal computers. Great news, Bobcats! Your access has been extended and is now available through July 6, 2020.
Whether you’re just getting started or you’re already a seasoned Adobe pro, LinkedIn Learning, which is free to faculty, staff, and students, has a ton of easy-to-follow Adobe training videos right at your fingertips! These videos allow you to work alongside the instructor and enhance your skills as you move forward, ensuring you have a hands-on experience when you’ve completed the course. Here are some of my favorite Adobe app courses for a range of skill levels:
Photoshop
- Photoshop 2020 Essential Training: The Basics (Beginner)
- Photoshop Retouching: Faces (Intermediate)
- Adding a Person to a Group Photo in Photoshop (Advanced)
Illustrator
- Illustrator 2020 Essential Training (Beginner)
- Drawing Vector Graphics (Intermediate)
- Illustrator for Fashion Design: Advanced Drawing Flats (Advanced)
Lightroom

You definitely don’t want to miss out on this incredible opportunity to use Adobe CC at no cost! Although we miss all of our faculty, staff, and students on campus, taking advantage of social distancing to master new skills online can prove extremely beneficial.
