I don’t know about you, but sitting in front of a computer all day for Zoom meetings can be very exhausting. I spend most of my time sitting at my desk, whether for work or school purposes, on Zoom. So, I was thinking, why not make it fun? Zoom’s Background & Filters section has made virtual meetings a fun and creative way to spend time with friends while at a distance.
Virtual backgrounds
Virtual backgrounds can make any dull-looking wall a creative scene. Not only does Zoom provide some backgrounds for you already, but it also gives you the option to add images to your backdrop. It doesn’t stop at just images—Zoom also allows you to add a video to your background! Grab your favorite meme or video and have fun with your friends with this creative feature. Video filters
Calling all my Instagram and Snapchat lovers! I know I love editing my photos with a cool filter, and I had no idea Zoom has the same option. Select from different filters to give your video a cool edit. The filters are minimalistic, adding just enough to make your video stand out! Apart from these edits, Zoom gives you the option to add cat ears, bandanas, and many other filters, to your face. With so many Zoom meetings, make yours a fun way to interact with friends and family!
Studio Effects
Studio Effects is something new Zoom has been working on to provide users the option of adding virtual makeup to their videos. It is still in beta, meaning they’re still testing it out before officially releasing it. Still, users can access it in the Backgrounds & Filters section. Studio Effects gives the option to select different eyebrow colors, beards, and lipsticks and is available for anyone who would like to look more presentable during their meetings. If you’re running late, don’t worry! Zoom can put a minimal makeup look on your face in just one minute!
You can have fun with these filters in all your Zoom meetings! Filters are an entertaining way to have a good time with your loved ones even if they’re far away, especially at a time when social distancing is important.
