Mediaflo is the university’s online media management system. Think of it like the YouTube of Texas State. Users may upload, manage, and share video and audio in a variety of ways.
Currently, Mediaflo accounts are restricted to Texas State faculty and staff. While students aren’t issued personal accounts, they have the ability to upload media to a dropbox managed by a faculty or staff member. You don’t have to have an account to view media.
Mediaflo has been utilized in a variety of ways throughout the university. Instructors have created and shared mini-lectures with their classes, staff have added videos in their websites to compliment page information, and videos can be used on personal websites and blogs.
