Being a photographer is a skill that is seemingly easy but requires more than just aiming a camera and clicking a button. If you have ever had an interest in making magic through a lens, now is a great time to tap into that curiosity. I wanted to let other students know about these free tools:
Nikon School
For the month of April, Nikon is offering all of its online courses for free. With Nikon school, you have an array of options from the Fundamentals of Photography to more advanced classes like The Art of Making a Music Video. Staying inspired has never been easier.
Professional Photographers of America
The Professional Photographers of America is unlocking all of their education until the end of May. All you need to do to have access to over 1,100 online classes is to create a free account. You can decide from different kinds of photography categories like Documentary, Fine Art, Wedding, and even how to work with drones.
LinkedIn Learning
Available for free to all Texas State students, LinkedIn Learning is a great way to tap into your hidden creative potential. Learn from industry leaders and top instructors on classes like iPhone and iPad Photography, Photographing with Natural Lighting, and Creating Presets in Photoshop. You can jump from one video to another, watch an entire course, or even make your own creative playlists.
Adobe Creative Suite
Thanks to the Adobe and Texas State Partnership, Adobe Creative Cloud is available for free to all students now through May 31. Combined with any of the above courses, get familiar with Adobe tools like Photoshop, Lightroom and Bridge to take your digital work to the next level.
