TXST Mobile connects you to all things Texas State

Downloading the official TXST Mobile app keeps you updated on all things Texas State. Having the app allows you access to news and events, course scheduling, and billing and registration holds. The app has an improved shuttle mapping system where you can view your bus in real-time, and it also remembers your favorite/most used routes. Here are some more ways it simplifies student life:

Student billing

As a student, you can easily view a detailed breakdown of your balance charges. This includes things like tuition and fees, financial aid, housing, and meals, for your current and previous semesters. The way it is set up makes it easy to view and understand your bill and quickly contact Student Business Services if you have any questions.

Where’s My Course?

Although we will be fully moved over to Canvas in the spring of 2021, this fall there is still a chance that you have classes in both TRACS and Canvas at the same time. Using the “Where’s My Course?” feature in the app lets you see which learning platform your class is utilizing all in one place.

Academic calendar

I always forget important dates, but luckily with the new academic calendar feature now you can sort by semesters, terms, and filters to curate academic information, so you never have to miss an important date.

User profile

This is where you can find out NetID and contact information. You can easily see what information is missing, such as address or emergency contact. If there’s information there that is no longer relevant, it’s easy to update. A red icon in any of the fields means you have some missing information that needs to be filled in!

Shuttles

The shuttle feature allows you to quickly access shuttle and building information and lets you see where your bus is in real-time. You can select favorite routes/stops, which the app remembers for you.

Don’t have the app? Give it a download and learn more on the TXST Mobile webpage.
