Since the TXST eSports Club is one of the fastest-growing organizations on campus, it was time they got their own facility. The Division of Information Technology is happy to help support them by sponsoring their new space in LBJ Student Center, as well as the equipment needed to help club members play at each of the 12 workstations.
To learn more and see highlights of the sponsored hardware, watch the video below made by student reporter Jameson Dunn for Bobcat Report, a student run news program at Texas State. The video features interviews with Vice President for Information Technology Ken Pierce and eSports Club Treasurer Chelsea Payton on the new space and how it will benefit the club going forward.
