The TXST Mobile app gives you everything you need at Texas State right in the palm of your hand. It hosts a wide variety of features – live shuttle information, the latest on student bills, news, assistance with finding an available computer in a lab, dining hall information, and much more. This is definitely an app Bobcats will want. Check out these features!
The newest updates
Campus Maps – The Campus Maps component lets you see a detailed map of all buildings on the San Marcos and Round Rock campuses. With the latest update, you can search the map for specific things such as hand sanitizer stations, innovative spaces, food and dining halls, and more.
Find a computer – The Computer Lab Availability component lets you find a computer in real-time. It has a variety of features, including the ability to view lab capacity information for social distancing, find computers with specific software, locate lab hours, and find computers nearest to your location.
More great features
Live Shuttle Information – Quickly access shuttle and building information and select your favorite routes and stops. This feature lets you see where buses are in real time, so that you can plan your trip.
Student Billing – Stay up-to-date with your tuition and fee billing and see detailed information on charges. This feature lets you see the current or past term balances, as well as the total balance due.
Academic Calendar – When is spring break this year? Well, you can easily find out with quick access to the Academic Calendar. One of my favorite features is the ability to filter by holidays. You can also filter the calendar to view other information such as registration dates and graduation.
News & Events – At the top of the app’s homepage is a news feed for TXST news sources, with the latest information and events happening here at Texas State. If you go into the News & Events component, you can see the full feed from sources such as University Star, the TXST Newsroom, Athletics, and the official university calendar for events you might want to attend.
SAP – Texas State faculty, staff, and student employees can get a quick link to SAP in the app. This is particularly handy for quickly entering or approving work time. Still, it has many of the same abilities as the desktop version, so it’s nice having easy access to the system.
These are just some of the great features in the app, learn more about it and download the app for both iOS and Android on the TXST Mobile webpage.
