Microsoft working to make Teams even better

Microsoft will be adding several new and interesting improvements to Teams in the next few months. The June Teams’ features announcement on the Microsoft 365 Blog includes talk of 49 faces on screen at one time during classes and meetings, a higher maximum number of people allowed in a meeting, and virtual breakout rooms.

Teams has become a vital piece of technology at Texas State University since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Faculty, staff, and students are using the communication tool for everything from holding regular meetings to instant messaging with – and making phone calls to – peers, friends, and family. Teams is part of the Microsoft 365 service offered free to everyone at Texas State.

Keep up to date on the latest with Teams by subscribing to this blog. We’ll be sure and let you know when new features make their way to Texas State users.
