University Libraries now has an icon in Canvas

Canvas brings students and faculty together for coursework and learning resources. And just when you thought Canvas couldn’t get any better! “Going to the library” is now a virtual activity using a brand-new icon right in Canvas.

This new icon makes it easy to access the library resources when you need something but can’t physically go to the library. By clicking the icon in Canvas, another web browser tab will automatically open for you. This makes reaching the tools and services you need more convenient.

The University Libraries’ blog post, “Library resources and services are everywhere…or anywhere!” shares information on the icon and other ways to access the online library services in-person or virtually. With conveniences like this, and more, the library makes finding what you need for your research less work.
