I am so glad you have decided to check out the Division of Information Technology (DOIT) Blog, as it will be a great companion during your time here as a student. As an avid reader of the blog, I am continuously inspired by the well written and researched content posted weekly, and I hope you will also find this blog useful as you navigate technology at Texas State.
Whether this is your first year at Texas State, or your tenth, technology can be confusing. As a first-year student at Texas State, I have had no choice but to learn how to organize my school and work assignments as well as my personal life. Before learning about the resources available to me as a student I would write every single piece of information down in one notebook. Frankly, I still do this from time to time, but because I put in the effort to organize my work through apps like Microsoft OneDrive, Canvas, and TXST Mobile, I can now say that I am invincible! Well, maybe not invincible, but I can promise you that, as a reader of the blog, you will be well-equipped to handle any workload.
The DOIT Blog will always be here for you. The blog is regularly updated with new tech-related content by contributors from all across the IT Division. You can subscribe to receive monthly digest emails and stay up to date whenever and wherever you are. Whether on the bus or eating dinner at Jones, as long as you have Wi-Fi (or ethernet!), the blog is here for you.
